Winter Egg Harvest, backyard chickens || watercolor painting--Print

Inspired by our backyard chickens and gathering the eggs during winters in Maine. The constant presence of white contrasted with the chickens bodies and all of the knit goods I layer up around me for my back yard chores.

I love to paint in first person perspective. It creates an intimate experience - putting the viewer directly in the scene, in the present.
